This section lists the major astrological organizations in the United States as well as other countries.

 

  • American Council of Vedic Astrology.
    The American Council of Vedic Astrology (ACVA) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the art and science of Vedic Astrology or Jyotish. The Council was founded in November 1993 and reached non-profit status April 5, 1995.  http://www.vedicastrology.org/
  • American Federation of Astrologers (AFA).
    Established in 1938, AFA is a worldwide membership and accreditation organization. The mission of AFA is to promote professionalism in all areas of astrology. http://www.astrologers.com
  • AORTA – Astrologers of The Real Tradition of Astrology.
    Based in Johannesburg, South Africa. AORTA meets the requirements of astrologers of The Tradition and promotes astrology to the media and public. http://www.traditional-astrology.co.za/
  • Association For Astrological Networking (AFAN).
    An organization dedicated to creating a network to provide information to the astrology community and link them together. http://www.afan.org/
  • Association of Professional Astrologers International (APAI).
    The Association of Professional Astrologers International was formed in 1990 to meet the growing demand for professional work of the highest standard. http://www.professionalastrologers.co.uk
  • Association for Young Astrologers (AYA).
    AYA is committed to providing educational opportunities for anyone interested in astrology, with a focus on outreach to young people discovering astrology. http://www.youngastrologers.org/
  • Astrological Association of Great Britain (AA).
    The AA of Great Britain was formed by a group of astrologers from the Astrological Lodge, which had been founded by Alan Leo in 1915.The AA organizes seminars and an annual conference. It also publishes the Journal Correlation, a journal of astrological research that has been in print for over 30 years. Its remit accords with the standard academic requirements that all submissions are peer-reviewed by suitably qualified experts in the fields of astrology, physics, statistics, etc. Astrological Association of Great Britain

  • Cosmobiology Research Foundation (CRF)

  • Federation of Australian Astrologers (FAA)
    The non-profit Federation of Australian Astrologers was formed in 1971 to promote friendly contact between astrologers throughout Australia supporting the National Code of Ethics for astrologers; to conduct examinations; and to encourage and publish the results of research in the fields of astrology. http://www.faainc.org.au/
  • International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR)

  • National Council for Geocosmic Research, Inc. (NCGR)

  • Organization for Professional Astrologers (OPA)

  • The Scottish Astrological Association.
