Fidaria (also spelled Firdaria) are used to see the outline of different periods in a person's life. This Medieval prediction technique comes to us via the Persians. It uses the different traditional planets to define the primary theme for each period.
In this lecture, Norma Jean Ream will illustrate the use of this simple timing technique, which is based on whether the birth is diurnal or nocturnal. The technique can be a useful aid in the first steps of rectification. The system can be compared to the Vedic system of Dasha-Buhkti. Each planet is ruler over a period of years and shares portions in partnership with the other planets in their order.
Norma Jean will use charts for celebrities to show how one can compare the difference of the diurnal and nocturnal sequences to make a determination when the birth time is unknown or doubted. She will apply the technique to biographical information to show how life develops and changes through the changing Fidaria periods.
