The Kepler Board of Trustees is delighted and proud to welcome to new members: Chris Brennan and Tamira McGillivray. The Board also thanks outgoing member Georgia Stathis for her years of dedication and assistance. Georgia was a member of the Board from 2007 through January of 2012.

Chris BrennanChris Brennan is a practicing astrologer from Denver, Colorado. He became deeply interested in the study of ancient astrology during his time as a student at Kepler, and he continued his studies at a translation project for two years after graduating. He currently specializes in Hellenistic Astrology, and he is in the process of finishing his first book on the topic. He is the former President of Association for Young Astrologers, as well as the former Research Director of the National Council of Geocosmic Research. McGillivray TamiraTamira McGillivray is another Kepler graduate. She earned her BA in East West Traditions & Astrology from Kepler College in 2007. She belongs to OPA (The Organization for Professional Astrologers) and is the Past President of the San Diego chapter of the National Council of Geocosmic Research (NCGR). Tamira writes a weekly “Silverdisc” Astro Lunar Column and is the founder and editor of the Maven Newsletter. As a Meditation teacher, Usui / Karuna Reiki Master (1996), PLR/Quantum Healing certified and RYT Yoga Teacher Tamira is dedicated to using a variety of methods and energy techniques to meet her clients individual needs. Tamira is also an instructor in Kepler's Fundamentals of Astrology Certificate.

Both of these individuals bring a variety of perspectives and knowledge that will help continue to build on Kepler's mission of promoting excellence in astrological education.
