Arens Christine6Christine Arens is certified as both a Professional and Teaching astrologer through the AFA, and holds a Level-III certification through NCGR. She has over 40 years of experience in astrology and has been actively consulting and teaching since the early 1990s. She has served as the President of the Chicago-based Friends of Astrology since 1993, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of both the AFA and Kepler College.

Crane Joseph 2016 100pxJoseph Crane, M.A. Received BA from Brandeis Universe with a major in philosophy, an M.A. from Lesley University with an Independent Study degree. Joseph is a consulting astrologer, teacher, and author.  As the co-founder of the Astrology Institute in the early 1990’s, Joseph has conducted training programs on astrological interpretation and counseling skills for astrologers. He has been involved with the Kepler College and Certificate Program since 2007.

Joseph is the author of A Practical Guide to Traditional Astrology (1997), Astrological Roots: The Hellenistic Legacy (2007) and Between Fortune and Providence: Astrology and the Universe in Dante’s Divine Comedy (2012). Joseph publishes a monthly astrology newsletter that contains current planetary phenomena and astrological profiles of historical and contemporary public figures.  Newsletters and other information can be found at The Astrology Institute.  Joseph is also a psychotherapist and a Buddhist practitioner. Duvendack Bill 100pxThe Rev Bill Duvendack is an ordained independent Spiritualist minister who is an internationally known psychic, presenter, and author. He has presented in many venues, ranging from colleges and high schools to national and international conferences. He is the author of three published books “Vocal Magick,” “The Metaphysics of Magick,” and “In the Shadow of the Watchtower, Enochian Grimoire Volume 1,” and two more are released in early 2017: “Spirit Relations,” and “Dark Fruit, Enochian Grimoire Volume 2.”

Bill has had a dozen essays published in various anthologies, and his magical writings have been translated into 6 different languages. He regularly teaches classes on magick, astrology, and modern spirituality nationally and via webinars. Lehman Lee4J. Lee Lehman, PhD, Botany, Rutgers University. In her four-decade development as an astrologer, practical application is one persistent hallmark which has defined Lee Lehman.

Lee is the author of The Ultimate Asteroid Book (1988), Essential Dignities (1989), The Book of Rulerships (1992), Classical Astrology for Modern Living (1996), The Martial Art of Horary Astrology (2002), Astrology of Sustainability (2011), Traditional Medical Astrology (2011), Classical Solar Returns (2012), The Magic of Electional Astrology (2014), and a translation from the French of Papus’ Astrology for Initiates. She is Chairperson of the Board of OCA Corp., and teaches at IAA, the Midwest School of Astrology, Avalon School of Astrology, and Kepler College. She is a Tutor for the School of Traditional Astrology, both in horary, and in a medical course which she has designed. Her online courses, Classical Studies (natal, electional, gaming, mundane and advanced horary), bring classical astrology to the forefront as an astrological system.

Mateus Maria100pxMaria J. Mateus, BA in psychology from the University of Texas and MA in astrology from Kepler College.

Maria believes the key to understanding all of astrology, is to understand the manner in which language and mind reflect the world we live in. In 2002, her desire to demystify the relationship between inner emotional states and outer world manifestations led her to embark on an investigation that culminated in the development of the LINCOS grammatical approach to astrology.

Maria has been a student of astrology since she was a teen. She's open to all astrological schools, but maintains  a particular interest in research, history, language, and ancient techniques.

Maria has lectured at conferences and workshops around the world and taught at the International Academy of Astrology and Kepler College. She's written for several astrological publications, translated a modern introduction to traditional techniques (On The Heavenly Spheres), and is currently translating its sequel, as well as working on her own work on grammatical astrology. Miller, KennethKenneth Miller, BA in Anthropology, Psychology, and Religious Studies from University of Colorado: Boulder; MA in Eastern and Western Traditions: The History, Philosophy and Transmission of Astrology from Kepler College; American College of Vedic Astrology: Level II certification; Council of Vedic Astrology: Jyotish Kovid certification. Kenneth is currently on the Board of Trustees of Kepler College. He loves astrology and is eager to serve the Jyotir Vidya (Goddess/Knowledge of Astrology).

Kenneth began learning astrology at age 13. He transitioned from amateur to professional astrologer in 2005. Since then he has been active seeing clients, researching, and recently received his Master’s degree in the history of astrology. In addition to receiving American College of Vedic Aastrology’s Level II and the Council of Vedic Astrology’s certificate of Jyotish Kovid, Kenneth has studied in India where he earned the title of Fellow of the Institute of Vedic Astrology (FIVA) and was awarded the title Jyotish Medha Shri. He also received the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences Jyotish Medha Shree award and was a Fellow of the Institute of Vedic Astrology (India). He is a lifetime member of the Council of Vedic Astrology, NCGR, and AFAN, and maintains membership in ISAR and AFA. 

Kenneth has also studied Modern western astrology with Helena Elizabeth Ruhnau, Hellenistic astrology with Demetra George and Robert Schmidt, Medieval astrology with Robert Zoller, and Renaissance astrology with Lee Lehman. He is one of the few professional astrologers with a working knowledge of all of these traditions.

Barbara Millios, MA in Communications from the University of Maine and a BA in anthropology and linguistics. Barbara has also studied at Kepler College. She has been an interpreter for the deaf for over 27 years.

Barbara uses an evolutionary approach for her astrology combined with esoteric studies in magic and healing. She has studied multiple approaches to Evolutionary Astrology, from ancient to modern times, including taking courses in both Jeffrey Wolf Green's and Steven Forrest's versions of Evolutionary Astrology. She has also been a member of the Wiccan community for many years. Barbara writes a popular column called The Mystic Moonbeam.

morris william William Morris, PhD, DAOM, MSEd, LAc.  Will Morris is a consulting and teaching medical astrologer. While playing drums in a jazz and funk ensemble on the road, after years of study, he performed his first professional astrological reading in 1977. He has pursued a career that weaves humoral based medicine with astrology and music beginning in 1980.

Will's PhD is focused upon knowledge-building in the clinic with attention to qualitative inquiry and politics of research. He currently serves as president emeritus and senior doctoral and research advisor at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Will regularly teaches programs in medical astrology through Medastro.com. His focus remains at the intersection of music, medicine and astrology.

scofield.jpgBruce Scofield, PhD University of Massachusetts; MS History of Science, Montclair University; BA, History, Rutgers University. Mr. Scofield has been a practicing astrologer since 1975 and has been a teacher and lecturer at many regional and national conferences over the last twenty years.

He has written many articles for various astrological publications and has published a number of important astrological texts, including Timing of Events: Electional Astrology; The Aztec Circle of Destiny; Native American Astrology from Ancient Mexico, and Signs of Time: An Introduction to Mesoamerican Astrology. Mr. Scofield recently received his PhD from the University of Massachusetts where he works on Gaia theory and solar system influences on climate and life. His PhD thesis examined temperature variations in the northern hemisphere correlated with Saturn-Sun geocentric alignments. trenoweth alex

Alex Trenoweth, MA, DFAstrolS. MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University. Alex is both a professional secondary school teacher and a globe-trotting astrologer. She used her observations in the classroom to write “Growing Pains” (2013), a book on astrology and education. In 2015, she was voted as the Best International Astrologer by the Krishnamurti Institute of Astrology (KIA) in Kolkata India for her innovative and ground-breaking research on astrology and adolescence.

After a short break from teaching to travel across the world to speak at astrology conferences, Alex decided that she was not ready to leave the classroom just yet and now divides her time between teaching children of all ages, writing and developing courses on how to use astrology to help make school a better experience for pupils, teachers and parents. Later in 2017, Alex will be returning to India to develop a curriculum for KIA to teach Western Astrology to Vedic astrologers. Her next book, The Wolf You Feed, examines significant Saturn transits and is due out later in 2017.

Woodwell Donna 100Donna Woodwell, M.A. received two Master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, one in Journalism (Communication) and another in Latin American Studies (Her Bachelor’s from the University of Michigan was in the same.)  Though Donna attended grad school to become a foreign correspondent, she had no idea how foreign she would get. An explorer of Western and indigenous philosophical, magical and shamanic practices, she brings ancient wisdom to re-enchant modern life.

Donna is a full-time consultation astrologer. She also teaches at Kepler and has written for major astrology websites including Astrology.com, MySign and Astrology Hub. A former member of the ISAR and NCGR boards, Donna also serves the astrology community by helping astrologer’s learn to better market their businesses in the internet age.

Zahrt JennPhD 100pxJennifer Zahrt holds a PhD in German literature and film from the University of California, Berkeley. Jenn is a professional astrologer, author, and established editor of esoteric scholarship for Sophia Centre Press, Ouroboros Press, Three Hands Press, and her own publication house, Rubedo Press. Among her publications, Verdant Gnosis: Cultivating the Green Path (Rubedo Press, 2015) presents contemporary engagements with plant magic shared at the first annual Viridis Genii Symposium in Oregon. As a recognized expert in the field of the cultural history of astrology, Zahrt has taught and lectured domestically and internationally in places such as Germany (Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig), the United Kingdom (Bath), and Canada (Montréal). Jenn is also a former board member for Kepler College.
