Was the Star of Bethlehem an astronomical phenomenon? The general answer is "no." It was not a comet, a significator of death. Nor nor was it a nova, as none were recorded during this time. So the problem is: When did the birth of Christ occur?
More than 30 years ago, Christine Arens' mother challenged her to use astrology to work on the puzzle of the Star of Bethlehem. For over 10 years Christine reviewed the many answers given by astrologers. Amazingly, none of the proposed birthdays worked with the transits and progressions for all four major events recorded in the Bible: birth, age 12 in the temple, age 30 as Jesus became a pubic figure, and the elusive chart of death.
Although she had finished her initial research, Christine has never completely let the question go. Please join us in this fascinating webinar. All proceeds will go toward scholarships for our students.
Christine Arens is certified as both a Professional and Teaching astrologer through the AFA, and holds a Level-III certification through NCGR. She has over 40 years of experience in astrology and has been actively consulting and teaching since the early 1990s. She has served as the President of the Chicago-based Friends of Astrology since 1993, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of both the AFA and Kepler College.
