I contend here that our astrological understanding of Scorpio and Pisces has been compromised by attributing to those signs qualities that belong to the outer planets Pluto and Neptune.

We have taken Scorpio and Pisces too far out of the realm of everyday life and brought it too close to the extreme and the supernatural, and usually this is not where people live. There is a gap between what the books tell us about Scorpio and Pisces and the lives of our clients. Most people with prominent Scorpio are not obsessive or focused on death but are self- contained but engaged with life. Most people with prominent Pisces are usually interested in the world around them, even its details, and respond to life in many different ways.

A fabulous moment in history -- Earthlings have gone to Pluto!

For the first time ever, after a journey of more than 3 billion miles and 9 years, a human-made spacecraft buzzed by Pluto within just 7,800 miles of the surface on July 14, 2015.

And we all know astrologers LOVE Pluto! (Or are just too intimidated to say otherwise.) In any case, we at least love to talk about him. So, to celebrate this historic event, Kepler College hosted its own Pluto Flyby Party on July 14.

If you missed the live event, view the recording!

Just as the rock that forms over great lengths of time, by the time the evolutionary journey has advanced to Capricorn’s third quarter position around the zodiacal wheel, the conditioning patterns and the realities it has created have crystallized to such a degree that consciousness is primarily resistant and largely impenetrable. At this latter stage of the twelve-fold cycle, preservation is paramount for the Capricorn archetype.
