“I look at the Samurai because they were the artists of their time. What I think struck me when I read Bushido is compassion. 'If there's no one there to help, go out and find someone to help.' That hit me, because I try to lead my life like that.”
– Tom Cruise, Cancerian

By mid-July for many; positive surprises, brilliant ideas and unexpected new paths hit job and career sectors. A long-term close tie that’s upset you since December sees a last ray of hope through mediation with a close mutual friend, minister or professional counselor. But stubborn intractability on one or both parts (or someone’s refusal to confront a serious mental / physical issue) could spell The End. Accept that there are things you cannot change or heal. Be nice; polite; but stop mulling things over incessantly and move on.

The darkest aspects of experience are ruled by Saturn and Pluto, and within them is gold. Using the metaphor of duende, a term used by poet Federico Garcia Lorca to describe artistry empowered by the awareness of death, Claudia Bader explores how different depths of Saturn and Pluto archetypes manifest in life.
She begins with the psychodynamics of the color black, then integrates Jungian alchemical models with Freudian and neo-Freudian approaches to the different themes of envy, death, and liberation as well as the healing potentials of incorporating their challenges.

Making a good marriage match is serious business in India and techniques focusing on relationships form an important component of Indian practice. A compatibility technique using the Moon can be easily used by Western astrologers as part of their relationship tool kit. Rhonda Busby shows the wealth of information to be obtained from a Jyotish approach to comparing Moon placements in each natal chart.
The decans are a division of each of the 12 signs of the zodiac in to 3 equal parts. They are often mentioned as a side note, or not at all, in contemporary astrological texts. Yet these neglected elements of astrology have a well-illustrated history- one adorned with hundreds of beautiful and disturbing symbolic images.
Feeling in a more literary mood? Consider Kepler instructor Joseph Crane's article on "The Sunless World of Chaucer's Knight's Tale (pdf). "Under the cover of a standard medieval romance, Chaucer’s Knight’s Tale is a grim and astrologically-rich contemplation of human passion, fortune, and destiny."
