Have you noticed important reassessments of professional and personal ties since Mars turned retrograde in March?
Who measures up? Who doesn’t?Can understanding be restored? Have paths irrevocably diverged?
People (including you) have changed – sometimes in essential and challenging ways. Can you – will you – ultimately accept their “new” (to you) selves? Are they supportive of your refocused direction and involvements? Do you support theirs?
For many, Life has circled back to long-ago goals and ambitions; perhaps through a stunning revival of a former dream you abandoned. For others, significant ties who loved or mentored you have reappeared like magic to pick up where you both left off. For older souls, reunions are more heartfelt and precious for realizing that Time stands still for no one.
In certain key relationships, dynamics involve unspoken power-plays; tests of everybody’s ability to collaborate and cooperate on achieving key long range goals; even deep Life-or-Death undercurrents. All these make your responses, behaviors, choices and words extremely important around the time Mars turns direct on May 19th.
One who could not see or hear grew to remind us of an ancient truth she knew more intimately than most, to guide us in May when we likely need it most: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
Her name was Helen Keller.

For a another perspective on the Moon, read The Importance of the Moon in Vedic Astrology. "In Vedic astrology, the Moon is given great importance and is of equal, if not more, importance than the Sun in many regards. For if the Sun is strong, but the Moon is weak, how will the soul be nurtured and supported?"
We are used to seeing the sky based on the constellations developed from Bablyon and Greece. In the US, we don't have a lot of information about the native tradition. I recently found an article from 2012 on the Pawnee Star chart and how these Native Americans patterned the sky. Read Seeing Stars the American Indian Way.
